Donation Information

Your donation of $20 to the Old Growth Forest Project sets aside a square metre of land to be protected in perpetuity. Each square metre sponsored can be in honour of a loved one through personalized certificates — ideal for gift giving!

Your donation will fund the design and nurturing of the new forest. We’ll be developing ecological restoration techniques to create a healthy, diverse forest with the utmost regard for the site’s historical and cultural heritage.

An integral part of our project will be to develop an education program that will turn the growing forest into a living classroom. Your donation will provide students with the opportunity to measure how the forest is helping to slow climate change, to get involved in hands–on restoration work, and to observe the complexity of woodland ecosystems.

A portion of your donation will be set aside in a legacy fund to ensure long-term support for the growing forest. Donations of $20.00 or more will receive an official charitable tax receipt (Charitable Number: 11896 6373 RR0001).
