The Ignatius Old-Growth Forest, the 500-year project, is located on the 240 hectare estate of the Ignatius Jesuit Centre. The Centre is located 1 km north of the City of Guelph, Ontario.
The Ignatius Jesuit Centre features trails for walking, hiking and cross-country skiing! Three trails traverse the Old-Growth Forest lands and are available year-round for hiking and other outdoor activities. Click here to view Trail Map. Ignatius Trails.

When walking our trails, take note that dogs must be kept on leash at all times. We do not have any off-leash areas on the property. Our trails are meant to provide a safe and peaceful environment that can be enjoyed by all.
From Toronto or Windsor on Highway 401
Take exit 295 (Hwy. 6 North) to the City of Guelph. Travel about 20 kilometers north, turning east (right) at Woodlawn Rd. Turn left from Woodlawn Rd. onto Woolwich St. (which is also Hwy. 6 North to Fergus). Look for the Ignatius Jesuit Centre sign on your left, less than one kilometre north of Woodlawn Road (just past Marymount Cemetery).
From Niagara Falls & Hamilton
Take the QEW to Hwy. 403 West (Hamilton, Brantford). Exit at Hwy. 6 North to Hwy. 401. Proceed west on Hwy. #401, exiting at exit 295 (Guelph by-pass). Then follow the instructions above.
